This year carried the mission beyond a traditional gathering and into the everyday lives of farmers, traders, and working families. It recognized the woman whose strength is often overlooked, whose sacrifices quietly sustain communities, and whose resilience deserves to be seen and celebrated. Through outreach, shared conversations, and moments of encouragement, women were reminded that their value did not depend on titles or visibility. Whether managing a stall, tending crops, or holding a household together, each woman carried dignity, purpose, and power. The experience created space for connection and upliftment. Stories were exchanged. Burdens were acknowledged. Hope was restored. Many women began to see themselves differently — not just as survivors of hardship, but as individuals capable of growth, leadership, and transformation. The I Am That Woman Experience 2018 helped plant seeds of worth and possibility in places they were needed most. It was a year of reaching out, lifting up, and declaring together: I am still here. I am still rising. I am that woman.
